Jennifer is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.

Jennifer Macdonald received her MA from the Literatures of Modernity programme at Ryerson University (2009-2010). Her research interests include late nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century fiction, especially British and American modernism including Hemingway and Fitzgerald. As part of the course LM8912: Modernity as a Public Event, she was a co-organizer of Modernity Unbound: Inaugural Literatures of Modernity Symposium (2010). Her practicum project at the MLC Research Center, supervised by Dr. Irene Gammel, focused on “the movers and shakers of modernism,” notably the women of The Little Review magazine.

Alumna Update:

After graduating, Jennifer Macdonald accepted a position at the  London Public Library. She subsequently worked as a Conflict Coordinator at Fasken Martineau, a large law firm. In the fall 2014, Jennifer, now Jennifer Howard, accepted a position with DHX Media Inc. as a Library Services Assistant.
