Kate is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.

Kate Zieman holds a Master's degrees in Communication and Culture (York/Ryerson Universities) and Information Studies (University of Toronto). At the MLC Research Center from October 2005 to February 2007, under the supervision of Dr. Irene Gammel, she assisted with the purchase of equipment, the managing of a Canada Foundation for Innovation grant, and the set up of the MLC Research Center, in addition to honing her skills as an editor and researcher. After completing her year at the MLC Research Center, she worked as a media librarian for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in Toronto (2007-2009), and as a Media Archivist at the University of Toronto (2009 - ).
