A MA student in Fashion Studies at Ryerson University (2015-2017), Jennifer Braun is currently conducting research on fashion media for her Master’s Major Research Project. Under the supervision of Dr. Irene Gammel, she is exploring the different features of fashion journalism and how the profession can potentially benefit the Canadian fashion industry. When Jennifer isn’t studying or researching fashion, she works as a freelance fashion and lifestyle writer and has been published in numerous publications, such as the Montreal Gazette, Panoram Italia, askmen,com, cultmontreal.com, and more. She also has experience as a Research Assistant in the Fashion Department, working with Dr. Ben Barry on a project which investigates how men construct their identities through fashion. She holds a BA in Journalism from Concordia University (2015).
