Modern Literature & Culture Research Centre & Gallery

Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Sam Sakaluk is a BA Honours student (2019-2023) in Professional Communication at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her research explores communications theory and history, as well as communicative outcomes with an intersectional focus. At the MLC Research Centre, she is involved in research administration in a team setting. She is thrilled about supporting the MLC’s groundbreaking scholarship, training, and community outreach. This involvement helps her prepare for graduate studies in Communication, her long-term research goals being to explore the storytelling abilities of historical and Indigenous mnemonic tools.
