On November 29th the MLC held a modernist soiree to open the exhibition "Celebrating Modernist Salon Culture”. This exhibition is organized by the graduate students in Communication and Culture 8829: Modernist Literary Circles: A Cultural Approach, under the mentorship of Dr. Irene Gammel. The goal of the exhibition is to showcase the innovative artmaking and forms of social community active among the modernist soirees of the early 20th Century. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the opening soiree a huge success. The exhibition runs until January 30, 2011.
