Audrey Wright
Audrey is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.
At the MLC, Audrey Wright works closely with the Director, Dr. Irene Gammel, to support the Canada Research Chair’s mandate by providing organizational and administrative support. A graduating student in the Literatures of Modernity MA program at Ryerson University (2015-2016), Audrey also holds a BA in English from the University of King’s College in Halifax (2014), and in 2016 completed an internship in social media and marketing at the prestigious Iceland Writers Retreat in Reykjavik, Iceland. Her research interests include trauma theory (a key research interest of the MLC), and her Practicum Research Paper explores identity, empathy and loss in the work of Cheryl Strayed. Audrey is excited to assist in delivering the MLC’s ambitious and innovative research agenda, and to become a part of the MLC’s lively research community.
