Beryl is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.

MLC Alumna, Dr. Beryl Pong, defended her PhD at Cambridge University in 2013. At the MLC Research Center during the spring and summer of 2009, under the supervision of Dr. Irene Gammel, she was involved in the preparation of an edition of avant-garde poetry by Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven for scholarly publication. She was able to hone her skills in manuscript transcription, archival research, and textual editing. Beryl Pong specializes in late modernism and urban war writing, particularly literature from and about the London Blitz. Beryl Pong also holds a Master's degree in Writing and Cultural Politics from the University of Edinburgh (2008).
