Edward Kanerva
Edward is a proud MLC Alumnus and no longer with the Centre.
Edward Kanerva is the Research Coordinator at the Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre (2012-2013). Prior to joining the MLC Research Centre he was the Exhibitions and Publications Coordinator at The Power Plant where he worked in the curatorial department coordinating several exhibitions and publications, as well as providing writing, editing and curatorial assistance. He received his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and his MA in Studies in Comparative Literature & Art from Brock University, where he focused on avant-garde poetics and the work of Robert Smithson. More recently he studied Book and Magazine Publishing at Centennial College where he was the Art Director of their biannual publication On the Danforth. Edward is inspired by the MLC Research Centre's interdisciplinary focus and is excited to become an active and engaged member of its team.
