Laura is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.

Laura Phillips holds a BA in Sociology and Psychology from the University of New Brunswick a background in Fine Arts from NSCAD University's Foundation Program. In 2011-12, Laura was a member of the Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre’s Communication team in order to gain professional experience in academic research and writing. Laura worked under the supervision of Dr. Irene Gammel to explore avant-garde artists and writers during the Modernist Era (from 1880 to 1940); she also worked on press packages for Body Sweats, honing her skills in publicity. 

Alumna Update

Laura, who calls herself a "culture junkie" secured a position as a copyeditor with New Brunswick News, which manages the Telegraph Journal in Saint John, Times & Transcript (Moncton), and the Daily Gleaner (Fredericton).
