Nancy is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.

At the Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre, Nancy Webb assists Dr. Irene Gammel with research on the topic of modernist women, visual culture, and World War I. Nancy's interests in trauma, visual culture, and feminist art practices closely intersect with the MLC Research Centre's main themes. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Ottawa's History and Theory of Art program. She has worked as a research assistant at the University of Ottawa, has contributed to the editing of Drain: Journal of Contemporary Art and Culture, and has interned and volunteered for the Ottawa Art Gallery, Artengine, and the National Gallery of Canada. At the MLC Research Centre, Nancy is honing her skills with plans to pursue graduate studies.
