Shannon Wakeham is a student in the English Honours BA program at Ryerson University (2012-2016). As a Digital Culture intern at the MLC Research Centre, Shannon is involved in communication and research mobilization. Her research interests include children's literature and feminist narratives. After graduation, Shannon hopes to pursue a career in teaching, where she can share her love for literature with others. At the Centre, she hones her skills in research and effective social media use. Shannon is very excited to join the MLC team.

Christiane’s research focuses on issues of immigration and trauma in Canadian literature of the twentieth century.
