Modernist Salons Remixed was the motto for 13 students in Dr. Gammel’s CC8829 Graduate Course on May 12, 2017. The students’ projects included brief exposes, music and poetry performances, salon games, diorama, soundscapes. Besides considering Paris and New York salons, students paid tribute to non-western salons such as the Egyptian salon and the Indian salon. Photographs by Jason Wang.
