On Monday, March 19, 2012, the MLC Research Centre hosted the launch of Ruth Panofsky’s new book The Literary Legacy of the Macmillan Company of Canada published by the University of Toronto Press. Author Ruth Panofsky took the podium to talk with Steven Beattie (Quill & Quire) and the audience about the rise and fall of a Canadian publishing icon, the House of Macmillan. Meet some of the guests including Macmillan Company veterans such as James Eayrs, Douglas Gibson, and Macmillan’s son and the University of Toronto publishing team.
