Ahlia Moussa
Ahlia is a proud MLC Alumna and no longer with the Centre.
Ahlia Moussa holds a BA Honours (2009) in English and Art History from the University of Alberta and an MA (2011) in Art History from the University of Western Ontario. With the support of a SSHRC grant, Ahlia completed her MA thesis "Point of Origin: The Global Positioning of Recent Vancouver Art.” At Western she chaired the graduate student conference and exhibition Revisiting Ephemera and co-edited the conference proceedings for publication (Blue Medium Press, 2012). Ahlia was drawn to the Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre’s interdisciplinary ethos and is looking forward to sharpening her research skills by working with Dr. Gammel and the scholarly team at the Centre. Her long-term goal is to pursue a career in publishing.
