David is a proud MLC Alumnus and no longer with the Centre.

Specializing in Film Studies, David Whillans holds a BA in Image Arts from Ryerson University (2010). At the MLC Research Centre, David was involved in the research, cataloging, and preparation of images in the centre's Modernist Digital Image Archive. Under the supervision of Dr. Irene Gammel, David readied images and manuscripts for publication in Body Sweats: The Uncensored Writings of Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven (MIT Press, 2011). David also produced the Video Tour of MLC Research Centre. Following his residency at the MLC, David assumed a position with Environics Communications in Toronto.  He hopes to pursue his MFA in Documentary Media in a few years.
